Special Services, Floating Computers

There are other, more devastating pictures in the thousands that were taken. But this one showed some of the heartache that we all felt. Computers eaten by mud as though it were "The Blob." A tell tale water line; always apparent on a sheetrock wall. Mold that multiplied and clung to everything it touched. This office was eventually stripped down to the studs and the insulation removed. As a side note: FEMA declared that the demolition work was unnecessary and that the school district had erred in disposing of good computers that should have been retained; computers that could have been cleaned.
