Central Office, Mold

The floor was covered in carpet (plus Katrina mud). The typical loss of records on the lower shelf is understandable because in this part of the Central Office there was less than two feet of water. But it was not the water that did the damage. In the heat and humidity that followed Katrina, the mold grew like wild fire. See how it attacked the chair that was not covered in floodwater. Look how it marched up the wall.
