North Bay Elementary, Kitchen

This camera shot is too low to show the water line, but the yukky stuff (technical term) on the tops of the tables should tell you that it got pretty deep in this kitchen. Because this was the first kitchen that we photographed, I wondered why the top of the cooler (the big refrigerator on its back in the background) was clean. Eventually I came to realize that these things were airtight and that they always floated. Therefore, their doors were never submerged. This place smelled really, really bad.
