North Bay Elementary, Kindergarten Wing

This photo is not about the mess that you see. It's about something that you don't see: a wall. You should be looking at one classroom with a wall that prevents the view into the next, but Katrina knocked that wall down. In fact, all interior dividing walls in the new kindergarten wing were knocked down. The three classrooms on each side became one big room. It's hard to imagine what kind of force of nature could do such a thing.
