Save for America Program |
| We will begin our
Save for America program this Friday, October 23rd. This
program is being piloted for Hancock county by SSES and was set up by
People's Bank to teach students the concept of saving money.
Parents signed up their child to have a savings account. These students deposit money every other Friday on "Bank Day" into their savings account. They learn how to fill out a deposit slip and see their savings grow! |

Thursday, October 15 is Report Card Day! |
|
Look over your grades to see if
you may be eligible for the Stars program!
Straight A's would be a gold STAR, A's and B's would be silver, and A's, B's, C's, and D's would be bronze. Remember, though, you may not have ANY office referrals (bus or school) or any unexcused absences. |

Welcome to a Star-Studded 2009-2010 School Year! |
|
|
|
This year we have introduced our new positive incentive program called
S.T.A.R.S. We hope that this program brings fun, excitement, motivation,
and reward to our students' educational career! To be a member of the
STARS program, students must have good grades, behavior, and attendance.
After each grading period, these three criteria are evaluated, and if
students qualify, they receive a STARS card according to which category
for which they qualify. These cards, worn around the neck on a lanyard,
will allow them to receive random incentives.
Some incentives include: free dress, reduced prices to all home sports
games, etc.
Following are the requirements for the different STARS levels:
Gold
Silver
Bronze
We look forward to welcoming all of our new STARS members when report cards come out next month!
