I was a teacher for twenty-four years and I have experience in grades second through eighth.  I am a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi and William Carey College.  I also completed my National Board Certification in 2003.

  The education profession has enriched my life tremendously and I am dedicated to giving back to the communtiy. Each day I enter Bay-Waveland Middle School I strive to encourage staff members and students to live their dreams and reach for success. I want to instill in everyone that success is a matter of choosing the right attitude that will put you one step closer to your dreams and to never lose sight of them.

Life has many paths to follow;
may you always choose the right one to reach your dreams.

The past is not meant to be regretted,
but learned from and used as path toward a future success.

a dream is hope in disguise.

Believe in yourself;
if you do, everyone around you will also.

Each part of your life you give to others,
will return to you ten times over.

You can use your abilities to accomplish anything,
but using them at the expense of others is not success.
