The acronym given to our Bay-Waveland gifted program is CHALLENGE. The word challenge stands for Children Having Accelerated Learning, Listening, Engaged iN Gifted Education.  Our program offers instruction and exploration in various content areas based on students interests, strengths, and the Mississippi Department of Education guidelines. The primary goal of our challenge center is the promotion of appropriate, quality education for students identified as intellectually gifted. The three teachers serving our students have a combined total of over 50 years experience in teaching.
